Hollywood might be turning into a little Manhattan of sorts, but it still has the cultural vibrancy to keep part of its soul and allow for streets like Melrose and all over Hollywood for huge murals to be erected to give street art a prominent place is the evolving fascade of a very elegant, expensive new city for the affluent.  The very developers are the ones that sometime contract artists of the likes of Retna or EL MAC to do huge mural three or four stories high at lobby of their corporate headquarters, ( check out EL MAC in Hollywood.)
